The Upholstery Tutor

Learn to upholster your own chair using traditional techniques and materials. Based in a rural setting overlooking the Warwickshire countryside. My studio is based near Southam, Warwickshire. So ideal for clients in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and the wider West Midlands area. Including Birmingham, Coventry, Leamington, Banbury and Northampton.
The courses are run in a friendly environment where you work at your own pace and socialise with your fellow students. With low student to tutor numbers to ensure you have tuition and guidance all through your project. Materials used are not included in the course fee but are available to be purchased at trade prices. (Excluding top fabrics. These need to be sourced elsewhere).Before booking on this course please book onto the project assessment course first. (See my other course listings). This is a one-to-one session where you can discuss your upholstery project with your tutor. We would discuss time scales in conjunction with your experience, if your project will need any remedial work such as frame restoration, show wood polishing, suitable top fabrics and where to source them.
