Based in a rural setting overlooking the Warwickshire countryside. My studio is based near Southam, Warwickshire. So ideal for clients in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and the wider West Midlands area. Including Birmingham, Coventry, Leamington, Stratford, Banbury and Northampton.
The course has flexible start dates, which means you can start at any time you wish at your convenience. It also has a pay as you go costing structure, so you only pay for the sessions you need to complete your project. With this flexible approach, if you need to miss a session for a holiday for example, you don't pay for that time lost.
Before booking on this course, please look at the project assessment session first. (See my other course listing below). This session must be completed before booking on to my traditional upholstery course. it is a vital one-to-one session where you can discuss your upholstery project with your tutor before starting work on your chair. We would discuss time scales in conjunction with your experience and any personal reasonable adjustments you may require. it will assess whether your project will need any remedial work such as frame restoration, show wood polishing, suitable top fabrics and where to source them.
What's included in the price? Tuition, use of all tools and equipment. All standard traditional stuffings used on your project. Top fabrics and trimmings are not included. But I have accounts with some fabric suppliers and sell their fabrics at competitive prices. Tea and coffee.
